Background:

A native of New England (now living in Portland, Oregon), I attended The School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University in Boston, MA, graduating with a combined BFA degree from Tufts University. I currently work at SurveyMonkey where I Lead Product for the Audience & Contribute teams; B2B (Audience Panel Buyers) and B2C (Panel Survey Respondents) in both responsive web and native mobile products. Previously at SurveyMonkey, I was the Lead Designer for the Growth and Billing teams, which encompassed running A/B tests on top of funnel pages such as onboarding, homepage, pricing page, and purchase flows. Prior roles at companies spanned across agencies and consultancies.

Design Philosophy:

My role encompasses IC, Design Lead, and Manager. I participate in the full life cycle of product solutioning; from strategy, through user research and design, to the QA of builds prior to release. I approach each project with a blended understanding of business and user goals, and apply design thinking and user centered methodologies as often as I can, but remain flexible depending on project scope & timelines. One of my particular areas of passion is fostering collaborative relationships across product teams and cross functional team members.

Interests:

In my spare time I love checking out all the food carts, craft/design events, and live music Portland has to provide. Working in the pottery studio continues to be a creative outlet for me, with anything having to do with the outdoors following as a close second.
